Ever wonder what it would be like to be walking on your ceiling and look up to see the floor long with your tv, table and even chairs? Well in Island City, Berlin you can do just that. The rooms are created by German artist Lars Stroschen with the aim of altering guests' perceptions, something this "upside-down" room certainly achieves.

Ice Hotel

Ever think about life inside a big igloo would be like? Dream no more and come visit the Ice Hotel in JukkasjÀrvi, Sweden. The Ice Hotel was not planned to be made but just happened to become a great concept. The people who came up with the idea were just sleeping in a cylindrical igloo and after the morning came they were raving about the experience and how wonderful it was to be there. Thats when they decided to make it a hotel. Not only are the ice beds comfortable but its actually not too cold inside the hotel even though you may think it would be. The Ice Hotel was one of my favorite destinations and i recommend everyone to visit there at least once.

Treehouse Hotel

Well one of the most unique hotels I've ever seen must be the ones at the Wild Canopy Reserve in Tamil Nadu, India. The visit to the hotel will be complete with exotic foods as well as safaris at dawn and dusk. The rooms are in a national park so there is non-hostile wildlife just outside your door. Not only is there running water and all of the other household necessities but there is a wrap-around balcony, very comfortable beds complete with mosquito nets, and fantastic room service for anything you would like. Could you imagine just waking up to the sun and looking down at a herd of elephants?

Cave Hotel? Yup

It doesnt get Much more exotic than this, a Cave. Thats right you can spend a night in a top class fancy hotel....that is inside a cave. The hotel is known as Kokopelli's Cave Bed & Breakfast and its located in new mexico. It is one of those places you will never forget going to, I know I certainly wont. Many of your friends can tell you that they have went on fancy vacations to tropical destinations, but how many can say they have stayed in a top notch cave hotel? Thats what I thought. It is truely an amazing experience that wont soon be forgotten.
